The Challenge:
Build a robust visual identity to transition MAREN Renewables from high-concept startup to commercially viable entity in the renewable energy sector. The brand needed to communicate both technical innovation and environmental stewardship to investors, partners, and stakeholders preparing for capital raising.

My Role & Approach:
I led the complete brand development, focusing on creating an 'Investor Toolkit' — a suite of high-stakes collateral designed to support capital raising and strategic partnerships:
Brand Identity System: Developed a cohesive visual language including logo design, colour palette, typography system, and brand guidelines that balanced technical credibility with approachable innovation, positioning MAREN as a leader in marine energy.
Investor Toolkit: Designed presentation templates, pitch deck frameworks, and data visualisation systems ensuring complex marine-tech concepts and engineering data are presented with clarity to investment audiences.
Corporate Stationery: Created business cards, letterheads, and professional documentation meeting the standards expected by institutional investors and strategic partners.
Scalable Templates: Built editable communication templates enabling the internal team to maintain brand consistency across proposals, reports, and investor communications as the business scales.

The Outcome:
Delivered a complete brand foundation positioning MAREN as a credible leader in marine energy. The brand is now equipped to navigate its next stage of commercial growth and funding rounds, demonstrating my ability to create strategic brand systems that serve immediate investor needs whilst supporting long-term business objectives.
