Coupla Threads is a cheeky clothing brand inspired by Aussie humour and surf culture. I developed a bold and playful identity that combines high-fashion aesthetics with Aussie humour, creating designs that parody iconic logos in a nostalgic and cheeky way.
The apparel designs celebrate Aussie culture with playful references, including Versace reimagined as ‘Noice’ in a nod to Kath & Kim, Aldi becomes Albo in relation to our Prime Minister, Oporto becomes Smoko and so on. The creative direction extended to styled photoshoots set against quintessential Aussie backdrops - milk bars, news-agencies and backyard Hills Hoists with a goon bag hung up.
